CVE-2024-34102: Critical XXE in Adobe Commerce with RCE

CVE-2024-34102 is an XXE (XML External Entity Reference) vulnerability in Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.7, 2.4.6-p5, 2.4.5-p7, 2.4.4-p8, and earlier. The flaw allows an attacker to send crafted XML documents that exploit external entity references, resulting in arbitrary code execution on the server. It requires no user interaction, making it immediately exploitable and extremely dangerous for e-commerce platforms running affected versions.

A significant development: on November 7, 2026, a third-party patch was published on GitHub for Magento 2.3 and 2.4, targeting versions without an official Adobe fix.
